Update: Fick just följande E-brev:
We’ve some exciting Spotify news to share with you.
We have just announced that Spotify has signed groundbreaking
licensing deals with companies including Universal Music Group, Sony
BMG, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, Merlin, The Orchard and Bonnier
Amigo.
This means that after just over two years, thousands of lines of code,
and even more cups of coffee, Spotify will launch today. We plan to
roll out invites to our free service gradually over the coming months,
while premium access to Spotify has now been made fully available
So what does this mean for you and our beta test community? Existing
accounts will immediately transition to become free Spotify accounts,
and you get to keep all of your playlists. We have refreshed our
database so you might find that some music needs to be replaced or is
temporarily unavailable. In the process of uploading lots of freshly
licensed music we will continue to scour the globe in our mission to
bring you any song you want, so please bear with us.
You’ll notice advertising in Spotify. If you’d prefer Spotify without
advertising you can always upgrade to Premium
(https://www.spotify.com/en/products/premium/) or buy a day pass
(https://www.spotify.com/products/day-pass/). Last but not least,
you’ll find two invites at your Spotify account page
(https://www.spotify.com/account/share/) that you can go ahead and
share with friends — a small thank you from us.
We really appreciate all of your brilliant support so far and are
excited to start this new stage of the journey.
